Like Sleeping Beauty,

I drift off to sleep, entering a night filled with wonderful dreams. The fairies guide me into a world so deep, that everything seems to glisten and gleam. I feel as if I'm walking on air, and then a fine man I do see. He holds my hand with a loving care, whispering, "I truly love thee." We dance along a little cloud, wondering if we've met before. His shoulders so broad, his face so proud, I look at him once more. When it is time for us to part, we promise we will meet again. We kiss a kiss from the bottom of our hearts, but I'm still scared that this is the end. I awake in my dream, but know it was real: just a memory of what used to be. A hole in my heart he did heal, but he left me wondering, "who was he?" Then awakening for real, I stare into eyes, that I know for sure are not mine. I smile at him, and he lets out a sigh, his returning smile a true sign. I look at him and wonder, did he wake me from my bliss?

Answering my question,

he makes my heart thunder, with another kiss.
